The rules of the road.

1. Who we are

Unlock Your Time (“we”, “us”) operates the website at unlockyourtime.io and the related assessment, content, and consulting services described on it. By using the site you agree to these terms.

2. The free assessment

The quiz at /quiz is provided as a free directional tool. The output is a generalised profile based on aggregated patterns, not a personalised plan. Nothing in the assessment constitutes professional, legal, financial, or operational advice for your specific business.

3. Paid services

Paid engagements (e.g. the Time Assessment) are governed by a separate written scope of work delivered before invoicing. Pricing displayed on the site is indicative and may change. The pricing on your signed scope controls.

4. Payment

Paid engagements are invoiced at scope acceptance. Payment is due before work begins unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing. We reserve the right to pause work on overdue accounts.

5. Refunds

The Time Assessment carries a no-leaks-found refund: if we cannot identify at least 8 hours per week of reclaimable time across your operations, the assessment fee is refunded. Other engagements are refundable only as specified in the signed scope.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site to scrape data, attempt to reverse engineer the assessment, abuse our forms, or upload malicious content. We may block access to anyone violating these rules.

7. Intellectual property

All site content, the assessment logic, prompt library, and any deliverables we produce are our intellectual property unless explicitly transferred in a signed agreement. You receive a non-exclusive licence to use deliverables internally within your business.

8. No warranty

The site and assessment are provided “as is”. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes, time savings, or revenue improvements from acting on our recommendations. Results depend on implementation quality and factors outside our control.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the site or our services is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages.

10. Confidentiality

Information you share with us during paid engagements is treated as confidential and used only to deliver the engagement. We may reference engagements in case studies only with your written permission.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes will be heard in the courts of Alberta unless we mutually agree to mediation or arbitration.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the site after changes means acceptance.
