How a Build Phase actually runs

Six weeks, four phases. No 30-day silences, no surprise scope. Weekly progress visible the whole way through.

Discovery (week 1)

We start from the Time Leak Assessment report. Half-day deep-dive into the two or three recommended systems — exact call flows, exact handoff points, exact data sources, exact people who touch each piece. By Friday we have a written build spec you sign off.

Build (weeks 2–4)

We build. Receptionist scripts get tuned to your business voice. SMS sequences get wired to your CRM. Back-office automations get connected to your existing tools (Gmail, Sheets, CRM, billing). You see weekly progress, not a 30-day silence.

Pilot (week 5)

Soft launch. Real traffic, real calls, real follow-ups. We watch every interaction for the first week, tune the system based on what actually happens (not what we predicted), and document the edge cases. You learn the system at the same time we tune it.

Handoff (week 6)

Full launch. Documentation, admin access, monitoring dashboards. You own the system — no vendor lock-in, no per-seat tax, no "platform fee" surprises. Optional monthly retainer if you want us monitoring + tuning ongoing; most clients take it.

Questions buyers ask before booking

Is Build Phase required after the Assessment?

No. The $497 Time Leak Assessment is a complete artifact on its own — written plan, prioritized fixes, links to the tools we'd use. You can take that plan to another vendor, hand it to an internal team, or ignore it. About 60% of assessment buyers move into Build Phase. The other 40% take the plan and run it themselves.

Why is the starting price $2,500?

It's the lowest amount that pays for serious discovery + a real build (not a templated SaaS install). Below that we couldn't deliver work we'd put our name on. Above $2,500 the price scales with how many systems are in scope — most engagements land $2,500–$15,000, larger multi-system builds run higher.

How fast can a Build Phase ship?

Most builds ship in 4–6 weeks from kickoff. The variable is data + process clarity: if you have a tight handle on how the work actually flows (or the Assessment captured it), we move faster. If we're still mapping reality during build, it stretches.

Do I own the systems or do you?

You own them. Full transfer at handoff. Code, accounts, vendor logins, documentation. No "platform" tax, no per-seat licensing on top, no vendor lock-in. If you fire us tomorrow, the systems keep running.

What about ongoing support?

Optional monthly retainer (typically $250–$1,500/mo depending on system surface) covers monitoring, tuning, edge-case fixes, and new feature additions. Scoped transparently at handoff. About 80% of Build Phase clients take it; the rest manage in-house.

Can you work with our existing systems?

Yes — that's the design. We integrate with the CRM, billing, calendar, and communication tools you already use. Migration off existing platforms is rare and only if the platform is the bottleneck.
